I was raised in Missouri, but in my adulthood moved to Columbus, Ohio. Everytime I come to Missouri to visit, my visit is not complete without a visit to Mexican Villa. I always buy their hot sauce in the jar in bulk to carry me over until I come there again. I just wish that there would be a Mexican Villa open in Columbus, Ohio. If the owners read this: Columbus, Ohio is the BEST state to start new dining places. Consider it PLEASE!!!!! I give Mexican Villa 2 thumbs up!!

I love the Mexican Villa on Cambell. It is great. I am from Missouri and would eat there all the time. I love their cheese dip and sweet sauce. I live in Washington now and would love to have a mexican villa here.

We ate there as a family and it was not a pleasant experience. The service was friendly, but not very good, and the "food" and "salsa" was even worse. If they are trying to be different from other Mexican eateries, they have done that well. Nothing tasted good to us. They need different recipes and to train their cooks how to prepare real Mexican food. I MIGHT try them again if they announced that they have changed and improved their food.

I've gone there several times, each time a poor experience. They need better trained employees and food with a less generic taste.

I'm not sure what restaurant these other people are talking about, but you couldn't pay me to return to Mexican Villa. We just moved to Springfield, and were not welcomed there. The service was TERRIBLE and the sweet salsa was not very tasty, to say the least. I definately recommend anywhere but there.

This restaurant is the best kept secret in Springfield. The food is wonderful from the chilli con queso to sancho's enchilada style. If you go you have to hit the orignal one on National. Couldn't have friendlier waiters. Been there many a time and just keep going back.

I love the food here. The flavor is to die for. If you go to Mexican Villa it absolutely has to be the one on National. Also, you have to try the Burritos Enchalada Style!
